I think of Kora, daughter of the potter Dibutades, in Greece in the fifth century BC: she drew around her lover’s shadow on a wall in order to preserve his image and remember him while he was away.

In the same way, my images are traces, between light and shadow, memory of shapes, negative imprints, positive traces…

As a committed artist and writer, my interdisciplinary artistic concerns are lines and frontiers, oceanic feeling, ecology and feminism.

Je pense à Kora, fille du potier Dibutades, en Grèce au cinquième siècle avant notre ère : elle aime un jeune homme qui doit partir. Kora entoure sa silhouette sur un mur avec un morceau d’argile pour se souvenir de lui.

À l’identique, mes images sont des traces, entre ombre & lumière. Mémoire des formes, empreinte négative, tracé positif . . .

Artiste auteure engagée, mes préoccupations artistiques transversales sont : les lignes & les frontières, le sentiment océanique, l’écologie & la féminisme.
